Stay fraud alert

Fraudsters can be very convincing, but knowing what to look for can help to keep your details and your money safe. Premier Miton will never make an unsolicited call to you or send you an email unless the communication is directly related to a fund or service that you already have with us. If you receive an unsolicited phone call from somebody trying to promote shares and claiming to be from Premier Miton, please be very wary, even if they claim to be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Remember, Premier Miton will never:

  • ask you to make a decision quickly – we will always be happy for you to call or write back to us
  • ask you to share private financial information with us (i.e. pin numbers / online passwords); however, we may ask you for personal details to help verify your identity when you contact us
  • ask you to move money into a new bank account, other than the one used when you originally invested with us, unless we have previously advised you otherwise
  • email you from any address other than those associated with our operational business, in some occasions this may be from our administrators or from an automated system e.g.  name@premiermiton.com name@seic.com or name@ntrs.com

And we will always:

  • give you time to make sure you are confident that the request is genuine
  • allow you to get back in contact with us through phone numbers / addresses that you can independently verify through our website, premiermiton.com, or via searching the FCA Register
Significant increase in fraudulent individuals selling shares
The investment industry has seen a significant increase in fraudulent individuals selling shares using the names, registration numbers and contact details of authorised firms and individuals to create authenticity and convince consumers of their legitimacy. These fraudulent websites and their content are not legitimate and have been created fraudulently using authorised cloned company details to convince unsuspecting consumers that they are genuine
Fraudulent individuals impersonating members of the Premier Miton team
We have been alerted that there have been attempts by fraudulent individuals to impersonate members of the Premier Miton team or who claim to work for Premier Miton. If you are unsure in any way, please get in touch with us and we can verify if the contact is genuine. Call us on 0333 456 4560.
